Sera for Secretary

I cannot tell you how proud I am of this little girl!! She had only been at her new school for 2 weeks when the information for student council came out. We talked about it and I thought she would say no way. She didn't!! So this "new girl" ran for student body secretary. She had to get signatures on a petition, make posters, and write and give a speech.
After a lot of ideas and brainstorming her dad came up with the idea of dressing like a clown. She sucked helium while giving the speech to add a special touch!
I was so impressed. There were at least 8 other kids running for Secretary that morning. She didn't even act nervous. She had her speech memorized, acted goofy like a clown, sucked the helium like a pro, and did a PERFECT job!

Now you are looking at the new Student Body Secretary!!!! Way to go Sera! You always set a great example for your family (especially me!).

Here is her speech:

Hello! I'm Sera Breinholt...
I want you to vote for me, for secretary. Just Remember:

S-E-R-A

S is for smart
E is for energetic
R is for responsible
A is for accountable

S-E-R-A
SERA!!!!!

Did you know that my name is even spelled in the word "SEcRetAry"...that means I'm the right one for the job.

I may be a clown but I'm not goofin' around when I say, vote for ME for secretary to get the job done!!!

A TEMPLE AND A ROAD TRIP

Last week we drove to the Gila Valley Temple open house. It was a GREAT day. We are so happy that we took the kids to see it. It was a very special day for all of us. The kids all loved it. Beckom even enjoyed all the beautiful lights. We spent the day looking at the temple, showing them President Kimball's homes and having lunch. What a great experience. It was neat to see the girls at the temple dedication today. I think it made it a better experience for all of us. This is a family memory we will all remember.

Mothers Day

I really didn't take any pictures but, my family made it a great day. Flowers, candy, homemade cards, letters, poems, gifts and all my favorites for dinner. I didn't have to do a thing. I felt very loved. My kids and Hubby are the best!!! I love my Family.

Sera did a mothers day program in her class for me. It was so cute. They had a ho-down with invitations, table cloths, flowers, gifts, a program with cute songs and Sera even had a part. They finished it off with Strawberries and cupcakes. It was so fun.
This is Sera with her cousin Noah. They are in the same class and so cute. We have a picture of them in Kindergarten together too.

Alexa's Special Day

May 1st at 2:00 Alexa was Baptized. It was a GREAT day.
Our little Alexa planned the entire thing. She told me who was talking, who was singing (she had a solo), what songs, who was giving the prayers, what was for dessert after (cheesecake)even how I had to do her hair. I'm sure this trait will come in handy when she is all grown up!
Here she is on her special day. She is wearing my baptism outfit. Now both my girls have been baptized in it. Hopefully their daughters will be also.
She was baptized by her daddy and had that huge grin the entire day. We are very proud of her and the decision that she made to get baptized. She has a special spirit and we love her very much!
