More Spring Break!

With two full weeks off we got to pack in a lot of fun!! We have had sleep overs, friends to play, zoo trips, bowling, swimming (yes, we spent a day swimming already!), watching a movie in our
backyard AND Easter! I think mom is tired and ready for a "mom" spring break now!!

This was our zoo day with the cousins!




























This was our movie adventure in the back yard! Friday Night we put up the trampoline tent, popped popcorn and watched Enchanted(everybody watched except dad who fell asleep in the first 5 min.)!!




















We also went bowling, I REALLY don't love to bowl!! The kids LOVED it!! Our friends went with us and it was a fun day!

No more Mama's Boy Hair!!

I finally did it! I love Boston's hair long, but when he came to me and said, "can you PLEASE cut my hair to look like dad,"I had to do it! I fought it for a while, but it is finally short! Daddy was begging too! He still looks really cute! It is supposed to be styled like in the picture, but he flattens it out with his hand every time we style it. He says it looks weird sticking up!

P.S. Even with a hair cut he is the biggest Mama's Boy EVER!!!!!

Spring Break!

On the last day of School before spring break my Girls had a concert! As you can see from the smile on Alexa's face she loves to sing. She did a GREAT job. It was a lot of fun to watch!













Sera was very excited because she was one of only four second grade students that got to be in a skit about bullying. They had to write, practice, and perform it! She did great! She keeps telling everybody that only the BEST students got picked to do the skit! It was a great start to spring break!









After the Concert we went to stay at my Parents house for the Weekend. It was a lot of fun! The kids love to just run and play in the huge yard! I put these pictures of Uncle Jason with all the kids because they Love him so much. He is always helping out with ALL our kids. I looked out the window and at one point he was holding a crying kid in one arm, another kid in his other arm, trying to push two kids on the swing, and catching one coming down the slide! What an AWESOME uncle!! We love you Jason! Thanks for being such a great sport!! (p.s. Jason I know you are going to be mad because I put this on my blog, I couldn't resist!)

SICK!!!

This picture almost speaks for itself. This girl NEVER sleeps. She is the energizer bunny! So, for the past few months I feel like I have been living in a haze of germs and sickness. I will just give a list of medical stuff in our house since the end of October. Boston surgery, Krista Surgery, Alexa Strep throat, Boston Strep throat, Boston croup, Alexa bladder infection, Alexa positive for Mono, Boston Strep Butt( yes, strep virus in your BUTT and that IS what they call it!!)Krista Strep throat, Alexa double ear infection, Boston croup, Alexa ear infection and Strep throat, Sera cold, Boston croup.(i think i even missed a few in there somewhere) And now the latest... Last week Alexa got a fever of 104 and the doctor sent her to the ER thinking it was meningitis. The Er treated us like we were there for the flu. So, 41/2 hours AND 1 IV later we came home. Only to have her continue with a fever of 103 or higher every day!! She is still sick as you can see from the picture. I am SO ready for spring I can't even begin to explain it!! Also, If anybody has a good recommendation for a pediatrician I obviously need one. We haven't had the best luck finding one. I would like someone that will help Alexa get better, not just give me another antibiotic every 15 days and not work on a solution!! I am kind of embarrassed to write this blog. I feel like the freak family that gets everything, even stuff nobody has heard of. I need SPRING!!!

Fun at the Cabin!

Last weekend we went to the cabin with our cousins to play in the snow! The kids had the best weekend. They played and laughed all day and sometimes night! The snow was great. I didn't know I had such fearless kids. They were sledding non stop and up for any ride! Alexa would fly down the hill, hit a jump, and crash. Then she would get up laughing and ask for more. For Boston it was never fast enough and Sera could not get enough or "catch enough air"! It was a great weekend! Here are a few pictures of us having fun...

Hannah Montana!!

After trying unsuccessfully to get concert tickets both times we went to the Hannah Montana movie in 3D! I didn't know it would be such a big deal. The movie was sold out both days we tried to go. So, I went at 9:00 am and bought tickets. Then I went back 2 hours before the movie started to wait in the line so we could sit together! In the end it was worth it! The girls were so excited they were jumping up and down. We were the first in line (Sera thinks that it is the coolest part), and my girls sang along, danced along
and smiled the entire time! It was a fun night!

If you can't tell he has 1 computer at his feet, one on his lap AND he is emailing someone on his phone, all at the same time. If he would have had 1 more phone I am sure it would have been up to his ear!
