On September 11th Sera turned 10. At our house we try to make Birthday's a special day. Sera didn't get to have a big party this year. But, she did have a GREAT day.
Dad takes all the kids to lunch on their Birthday. This year he checked Sera out of school and took her to In-N-Out. She loved it.
Beckom and I went to Sera's class and brought a GIANT cookie for her to share.
Later that night Sera wanted to eat a Joe's for dinner. She picked it because kids eat free on their birthday. That way she could order whatever she wanted. Smart Girl. She also got to bring her two closest friends, her cousins Noah and Lauryn.
Sera has decided she loves to cook. I put together a cooking kit for her with everything she needed to get started. She got a cute apron with her name on it, and a gift certificate for two cooking classes. Her Grandma gave her some very special cook books that belonged to Sera's great-grandma. We have the meal all planned for next Sunday out of them.
We finished off the night with bowling. It was a lot of fun. The kids beat Frankie and I. We laughed so hard. It was a great night.
Happy Birthday Sera!
